Company History

CharDonnay Dialysis, Inc., headquartered in Danville, IL, was formed in May 1994, and has been a woman-owned enterprise since inception. Owner and President of CDI is Donna Combs-Williamson. Donna began her career as a dialysis RN prior to starting CharDonnay Dialysis in California and later relocating headquarters to Illinois as the business grew. As a result of the success and steady growth of CDI over the years, Donna has transitioned from patient care to business oversight. The primary fundamental focus of CDI has always been ensuring that consistent standard of care is administered to all patients in any CDI dialysis clinic. This focus has been the cornerstone from the first clinic to our present day footprint.

The first institution-based dialysis contract was obtained in September, 1994, and has grown steadily to present day. To date, dialysis services are provided at thirty-eight different locations in seventeen different states. Currently all CDI dialysis services are located in correctional facilities and each program is tailored to meet the needs of that specific facility. We have the experience and capability of servicing contracts large and small and have successfully executed agreements with patients ranging from 1 to 150. Through the years, CDI has set the standard for institutional and contractual based dialysis by offering competitive pricing, community care standards regardless of the location or circumstance, and developing strong relationship with our customers.
